What I'm thinking of is that we can put in a lot of stuff from our proposal into the poster, especially for the background section.
I have thought of some of the poster content. We need to put them and arrange them in a nice order later..

Apart from having a fun tour, the group will visit Boort P-12 College for a forum and discussion session with year 10, 11 and 12 students to increase awareness of higher education opportunities, especially at the University of Melbourne. The forum hopes to spark the students' interest in joining the reciprocal exchange to Melbourne in 5th to 7th December 2011. The Melbourne trip aims to provide 6 Boort P-12 students with Melbourne University experience and fun Melbourne city experience. or should we have this in dot points to make it clearer? Like this.....

POSTER OUTLINE
-Put some pictures from our Loddon Trip
-Put the map Loddon and Melbourne. Probably Loddon on top right of page and Melbourne on bottom left, then we can link them with train tracks as the page border?
From Naomi:
Hey guys,
This is an example of my vision of the poster. I agree with Vio pretty much. I suppose the content would be:
Back ground: exactly as Vio had it
Future Vision: same as Vio
Melb-Loddon: like Vio, but aims: -promote agri tourism and eco tourism
-broaden horizon city students
- raise prospect for future professional in the area devel.
What is happening: -Forum
-Tours (akrasi wines, simply green, aussie wool)
-Nature loving- Melville caves!
Loddon-Melb: again, like Vio, but aims: -broaden horizon loddon students
- increase awareness of higher education opportunities
- display a side of melbourne uni culture that they probably wouldn't know about/get to see.
What is happening- Master class and forum
- Amazing race
-Melb culture activities (ie koko black).
My only think about this poster is getting the balance between pretty and the right amount of info (it's gotta be just right!)
Also, I love dot points! So maybe background and vision could be text and the rest dot points?
